As Augustine grabbed my hand and asked, "Where do you think you're going, my love?" I couldn't fathom that my supposed mate was now the new Alpha. I had believed Augustine cared for me, but it turned out he had been engaged to me solely for the pack's sake, without my knowledge. Adding to the pain, Rhoda, always a thorn, interfered, causing more trouble. Despite her attempts to harm me, Augustine maintained a calm demeanor and demanded, "Apologize to her." His unwavering loyalty to Rhoda left me stunned. The shocking truth came to light when I shifted into my wolf form, revealing, "Didn't you know those earrings he gave you had tracking devices?" The revelation sent shivers down my spine. In a desperate attempt to escape, I leaped from a cliff, hoping Augustine would feel the loss. I vowed, "Augustine, today, you'll regret letting me go." To my surprise, we unexpectedly crossed paths again. Standing with a younger Alpha, he stared at me and sternly declared, "Back off, he's not your mate anymore." "I am not your mate, Augustine," I retorted, sneering at him. The once-arrogant Alpha pleaded, "Keira, please, don't abandon me."

I recall that this is a really generic power fantasy comprised of almost every korean cliche from whatever broken parts of my memories I have left of this novel.
It was still enjoyable for the me of back then because I hadn't really read much of this genre and was actively looking for these 'leveling' stories. I think I left it somewhere around 250s.
One thing I vividly remember from this novel is that the nature of mc was pretty ruthless and actually thought himself as a hero of justice or something. Also no one can convince me that this thing hasn't copied plot points from Solo Leveling, it's not about the necromancer, leveling and gates part but the side characters cast and even the way they interacted with each other.
