Aubrey yearned for a single night of fleeting happiness with the Alpha's son, hoping it would alleviate her feelings for him. What better opportunity than the night before his big day, especially since he initiated the encounter? Initially planned as a discreet encounter, it unexpectedly turned into a public scandal, derailing Aiden's wedding and delaying his crowning, much to his disappointment. The evidence, in the form of incriminating pictures, only fueled Aiden's anger. He lashed out, shaming and humiliating Aubrey, leaving her humiliated and unaware she was pregnant. With nowhere else to turn, she left her old life behind, seeking refuge. Years later, a sudden knock on her door interrupted her children's playful banter. Urgently summoned, she discovered that her expertise as a renowned doctor was needed to save her werewolf community from a deadly pandemic. Now remarried to Hayden, her rock during tough times, she had moved on and cherished her new stability. However, the brothers who once wronged her, each with their own motives, found themselves at loggerheads. One sought her forgiveness, while the other plotted to exploit her for his own gain. United by a common goal – bringing her back – they confronted their past actions. With her life in a crossroads, Aubrey faced a difficult decision: embrace the past and its consequences, choose between the Angel, the Devil, or the man who stood by her in her darkest hour, or perhaps consider something entirely different. Would she let go of her past traumas to protect her present and those around her?

Such a shame the premise was good but poorly executed into a trashy web novel. Some trashy novels scratch a mental itch you didn't know you had or make you laugh till you fall over: this novel didn't when it could've. How disappointing.
