The beginning feels kind of odd to read, not sure how to describe it. I think in terms of how the romance developed, it felt kind of out of nowhere. I think the plot was interesting enough in the way that while it follows a traditional regression/isekai and defeat the demon king plot point, the plot twists and story points were interesting enough for me to continue reading beyond the beginning.
I do kind of think that more character development could have been used for the side characters. The entire cast has their own individual uniqueness but nothing outstanding or underwhelming either.
Furthermore, compared to other romance light novels, it’s relatively short and simple which results in little to no beating around the bush with starting to develop the relationship between fem mc and male mc. But this is only in comparison to others as aforementioned.
Overall: Solid 5/10. Easy to read after beginning.
