A chance encounter with Q results in the crew of the Enterprise switching personalities and abilities. Picard is now obsessed with honor, Worf is a neurotic scientist, Wesley is a mature and levelheaded counselor, and Q himself is exploring his newfound humanity. But while the rest of the cast explore their new emotional and physical natures, trouble is brewing in Engineering, as a malevolent consciousness has awoken in the now Omnipotent Data.
A very enjoyable and fluid read. One should read the School of The Uninpressive for what it is, not what it is not.What is it then? It is in the title, the story isn't a grandiose weak-to-overpowered story or underdog revenge plot, it is simply a novel about people the bad middle ground of society, in the novel being people who are special enough to be isolated from the mundane world but not special enough to benefit anything from it, essentially cursed by their 'blessing'.What this story is, is also a well-written story deserving of a good read.Take some time to add it to your library and read it.Keep up the great work, author.Have a good day, author and everyone else.
This book is a masterpiece of fantasy and adventure. The author has created a fascinating world with rich lore and diverse culture!I loved the chapters that are open to the public so far! I highly recommend it for those who like anime and or manga as the genre is vast in those spheres but even if you don't watch anime or manga it's still a solid read.
I like the story. The world building is good and well thought out. The main character is nice and I like how well written he is. But the side characters are not one dimensional but people who contribute to the story which ticked a box for me. The power system is good and for someone like me who is tired of reading about novels with systems I like it that this one doesn't have it. This is a pure progression story with no system so the MC would work hard to get to where he is now. I am the type of person who likes to read what the world of the story I am reading about is like, for example this MC is into formations. I read how he constructs and what formations are like. This shows the writer has good descriptive writing and this helps me to see how the MC is progressing and makes me feel a little like I am seeing or checking out the progress of the MC. This is a slow progression story which some people would not like so for now he isn't OP or getting jade beauties like they are Pokémon. The problems I have are with the translator. He doesn't translate this story properly which to me is an insult to such a good story. The translator confuses the gender of the main character and sometimes the character of this story. This story can be better but the translator has to pick up and improve.
