In the RPG themed world. The mysterious beings called "Nightmare" an invisible and invulnerable beings that attacks people with their goal to gain the level "Infinite" created by the mysterious organization. "The Inferno."
Shin Kizuna, a Level 10 student which serve his max level. He swore to the little girl named Philuffy Earhart, a Level 0 Breaker with her ability to make the Nightmare identify and vulnerable with the skill "Scan" to defeat the man calling himself The Black Reaper. Shin Kizuna transforms to Status Breaker Specter to find the mysterious Black Reaper and stop the threat of the Inferno until he was sent in a whole different dimensions where Status and Leveling doesn't apply.
