It was one and a half meter tall, incredibly rigid, somewhat well balanced with a good sharp spearhead. Since he realized that a wooden spearhead might not kill or injure anything in this forest, he cut some stones to the right dimensions and until they were sharp enough to make him bleed easily, placed one atop the wooden spear and tied it with a torn part of his shorts.
