I think the default chinese cultivator is more aloof and uncaring than malicious, at least initially tbh. Like they wouldn't go out of their way to kill mortals for the hell of it, but given the flimsiest excuse they would do it.

I really loved this story. I'm so happy everyone got their happily ever after. I wish Ashley could have surprised Sinclair with being pregnant at the wedding or when she came back from her work vacation but I love their journey. amazing job with this book keep. up the good work.  now on to crave
