The plot was interesting so I was expectant. Didn't expect that as soon as the missions began, the development of the story would be very awkward, or should I say forced. I stopped reading at exactly chapter 10.
I have given a review for this novel before, but that one isn't very fair. I was relieved that Webnovel have started to use Chinese names again for MC's names (as it should be!). Since I have read this book and actually enjoy it, I'm going to give this a fair review. For me, this is one of the best novel from this batch's Trial Read. It's relaxing and lighthearted, so no battle and not much romance here. MC is an excellent university graduate and had been working in a company for one or two (?) years. But someday, he gets tired of living that kind of life (corporate slave *cough*) and decided to go back to his hometown. His hometown is situated in a seaside, so people there are mostly fishermen. He goes back to his house and finds a mysterious object (the heart of the ocean) that gives him the ability to swim better, promote his constitution and senses, and know a LOT about marine creatures. He uses this ability to catch rare fish, lobsters, and many other seafood. He heals and gains two animal companions. He also reconnects with his childhood friends and people from the village. For now (25 chaps), his goal is to use his ability to develop this village and its people. World's similar to ours, with some hint of supernatural (the object and the mysterious disappearance of villagers). The characters are average, with a usual childhood friend sidekick and rich business woman as a buyer of his fish. MC is not dumb and still quite rational. Overall, this is quite a pleasant read.
It is a good story, not the best, but good, the mc has a cheat ability, & he has some helpers & a Antagonist, but the spelling is off at times, & Most importantly they don't know how to count, for instance at one point it said he planted 100 Crops when he only used 20 meters of farmland, or randomly his resources dissappear, or for making a knife he had to use 3,000 wood, which makes no sence. Basically it's a OK book, wouldn't recommend it, but wouldn't go out of my way to say it's terrible. Except for their math.
Amazing story and developments, but slow Chapter Release.....I NEED MORE!!!!!!! Tell me how I can help more chapters to be released.....we need more chapters please and thank you.
Its interesting, for some moba player will think this novel refreshing, and for non moba player they will know why moba is very interesting. Just try 5 chp or more before judge it
