I struggled to get past the first chapter but by the 5th I was done. like others have posted its just a series of cliches set in a world with no internal logic.
This novel delivers all the xianxia tropes, underestimated MC, young masters and so on, if it's your thing, rejoice. I used to like, but after 3 novels, it gets tough and repetitive.Seriously, I'm hoping to find a xianxia novel with a ground breaking system - I'm not talking about system novels - where the development doesn't sound like a bunch of nonsense or emptv words.I'm saying this after (re)reading the Mistborn series, where alomancy is such a ingenious magic system.

This story has so many unbearable cliche. The MC rent the house, but who would expect to see a "Young and beautiful Lady who has some points of grace?" He say. If we are given this scenerio on a novel, we can predict the outcome. And yes, "I'm surprised" that the Young Lady is from the Wealthy Family?! Who would expect that? Then again, I held back my "surprise" and read the next chapters. And again, who would thought that in the same place where the mc was and saw the "Young Lady" got chased by some people (the BodyGuards of this young lady's father) and by chance, the young lady saw the MC and have him as a shield. Not "surprised" because of the ridiculous strength of the MC he been putting nonstop on his status, he defeated the body Guards. Huh, who would expect that? and with that, I stopped reading and wrote this review. 5 Stars because the Story is Nice, just the "execution" is bad and sooo cliche.

We went down the stairs, i kinda see that Alucard's changing little by little. I'm a little scared for Crystal, but ill make sure she's safe. "Hey Alucard i need to go to the cafeteria i forgot something, ill be right back I forgot my notebook"
