The world is a beautiful place, filled with murder, theft, and corruption. Yes, a beautiful world ripe with crime and destruction. A world plagued by both greed and ambition. Regardless of one's nationality, race, gender or species, people will be greedy. This drive has pushed us forward, yet prevents us from pushing further. Both biological and mechanical organisms are bound by such greed. It is also thanks to our greed that we are curious and thirst for knowledge. However, the desire for more leads us to take from others. To deprive others of their time. To force our ideals and values upon others. Yes, greed is our motivation, our ambition. But it is also our downfall. For greed will be the very thing that will shepherd our demise. That is why, I find humans to be such a wonderful species.
