Reaver of the Bloodstars

Maraak is a Reaver, a callous enforcer who works for the Blood Eternal, a tyrannical power that rules via terror and bloodshed in a galaxy rife with strife and madness. Armed with Veilsunder, a sentient blade that devours its victims' souls, Maraak is sent to Nithrax-7, a desolate planet home to cultists and monstrous creatures. His task was to destroy the remaining members of a heretical group that worshipped Voraak, the ancient chaos deity. Veilsunder's words get louder as Maraak forges a bloody trail across the wasteland, pushing him over the edge into madness. When he discovers the cult's scheme to awaken Voraak, an eldritch monstrosity that could mean the end of the Blood Eternal—and reality itself—the distinction between hunter and hunted becomes hazy.
