On another world called Troria a great and evil entity threatens the existence of life. The benevolent beings allow the world's inhabitants to perform the hero summoning in order to help combat the threat.
In the human kingdom the royal family along with the church perform their hero summoning only to fail. Thus there is one less hero to save the world and the King has to do something about it.
However this is not a story about a King but the white slime that came out of the failed summoning.
