i feel you early on the age acceptance is pretty weird, but 1st you gotta understand they verse they live in most people don't even make it past childhood let alone surviving adulthood, 2nd if you can last later on into the novel you'll see that meeting someone that's like 400 years old vs a few 1000 years old or even several millions of years old people just stop thinking about the age but that's only in the defense of the majority of people who are old what I'm mainly trying to say is that the author made age of anything really weird cuz you got folks who are in their 20s acting cool and smart then people that are like 300,000 years old acting stupid.
also I don't like animal abuse but he was kicking his dog because instead of barking it meows which just became a long standing bit
Understandable. No worries if you can't remember anything, it's just because you recommended this novel, you seem to have an eye for quality.
The categories I'm thinking of are pretty generic, tbh. Basically: isekai, ancient world but not medieval fantasy. Some sort of time ability would be cool, but those are in short supply. Reverend Insanity is pretty good. I've tried out the Perfect Run, but I'm not into it. What really interests me is just if you've seen anything with the same level of writing as this novel.
Mother of Learning was one of my first ever light novels, and it's fantastic.
I'll give you some recommendations, too. Check out Chronicles of Primordial Wars, and Beware of Chicken, if you haven't read them already.
