Marvin knew that he was in a dangerous place and that death might await him at any tree he passes. Comforting himself in the fact that he never saw any beasts near the beach, he assumed that he would not have any encounter with any beasts on these white sand grains and that the beach could be considered his "firelink shrine".

He could see the truth. Clairvoyance, is what people would call this ability… but it's more than that. Something more ominous is lurking through his very core… but I can't really put my finger to what and where it could be. It's rather intriguing.
