I usually don't write reviews for novels, but the reviews in this novel honestly baffles me... disclaimer though, i'm a free reader so I only read the free chapters plus some more using those free chapters tickets. alright, the good stuff:1. the MC is actually smart, for most of it anyway. the MC(and to a certain extent the author) understands that in order to keep power in the "modern" era, you have to give some of them away. history clearly points that an arrogant/out of touch monarch will just trigger a french revolution-like event, so those reviewers that said "the mc isn't arrogant enough" or "mc loves democracy" shouldnt be a leader in any type of organisation at all. author, i'd say you post this novel in the wrong website. 2. MC is actually not too into democracy that much. he understands thst autocracy/absolute monarchy won't be accepted anymore, because most superpowers already changed their monarchy type. now, the MC is ambitious, so rep democracy or republic will hinder him, but he understand that democraxy also has its ups and downs, so instead, he chose the constituional monarchy, so even though the emperor isn't really above the law anymore, he still holds most of the power. 3. Grammar is okay, alongwith the formatting. The bad:1. the author sometimes made mc do weird things for the sake of the plot. like when he stayed waving to the people because "they never see him

I like this new vibe Kai brings with him but could be more on the serious side at times.5 star because funny skeleton (some more words here)

So, I made a long-ass review here, properly pointing out precisely what problems there were - and it got deleted. Lesson learned, don't bother with an actual review - Webnovel doesn't like it.So, let's just keep it short and simple. The story's an edgy mess, everyone's out to betray everyone for 'reasons', I guess, and the main character goes from so kind he wouldn't step on an ant to a Xianxia murderhobo in the time in about two paragraphs. It's the kind of slop only an emo teenager would really like.

beast taming version of I'm actually a cultivation bigshot. There is a lot of similarities between the two. If this novel was after the prior, I can say that it took HEAVY inspiration, of not copied from the other. overall if you liked cultivation bigshot, more than likely you will like this, so long as you don't keep comparing.

I have read the complete story somewhere else before. Not on Webnovel. There is also another person writing this same story here on Webnovel but with a different name. So I will like ask the author who is the original author of this book? Why is there no acknowledgement of that author at all in the story info?.
