It's entertaining, but I have several problems with the main characters and dialogue.The main characters don't question anything. They suddenly transmigrated to another world and didn't question anything. They just said, "Oh, let's Dr. Stone this [thing]," and that's it. There are no hypotheses, internal monologues, questioning, or anything like that. Also, I feel like the characters don't try to change the world; they only try to make money, especially given how they act towards it. Apart from the blatant [racial discrimination] that Poul receives, they don't have opinions about anything else.They are like:Oh, look, the streets smell like [unpleasant thing that smells bad]. Well, it is what it is.Oh, look, people look at me as if I were an [intellectually challenged person] because I don't know these useless and overly complicated manners. Well, I guess it's my bad. I'll learn.Oh, look, races are separated by hair color and skin color. Well, I don't care, I'm not going to investigate it. I'll just work for 300 chapters to produce more air brakes.I understand that the characters have to adapt, and it's the smart choice, but I feel that the MCs don't have any conviction towards their past lives and 21th Century beliefs. They act as if they were commoners in that world that suddenly gained knowledge from another world, instead of actually being highly educated transmigrators from our era. They just accept things, and we aren't explained why they accept it. It's just weird, and it feels like they are empty. I don't know how to describe it.The dialogues are sometimes too specific or weirdly structured. Instead of something being explained through the narrator, the characters explain it. But sometimes, it's obviously structured so that we, as readers, can understand it, which makes the dialogue weird because nobody would talk like that. It's like they are reading a presentation/script.Also, the MCs act too respectful, let's better say "agreeable
Absolutely Love this novel!!! Can't wait for each chapter!! Demon King Chi is the best, he is funny and I love his gourmet rankings the best!! I wish more chapters could get released faster!!!
Not bad, but also not that good. The very bad thing about this is that MC would share the information regarding his cheats ie. his high luck and information regarding his talent to strangers. I mean he just met new people and he's already telling them what is supposed to be his secret. Also his high luck isn't really doing much right now. You would imagine that with such high luck he would have like a very high chance to trigger his skill, but nope. His luck right now is just kind of like a decoration. The final straw for me is that MC was all about being a loner professional player trying to earn money(you would think that there is something special about him like he's very good at gaming, but nope), then it turns out that he would need to join a guild in the end to actually earn a lot of money and progress more than being a loner. I might change my review if his luck and talent started working in the future.
Basically he has a game like system to help power him up. This world is connected to another that spawns demons and makes origin power which allows some people to develop classes. While he is a from this world there is no real background given yet. He seems like a slightly smart typical young man and his first class is sword saint ( Uber class but not the highest). With his cheat he can do draws using his lifespan 1 yr = 1draw like a mobile game. He can absorb life from Demons.
this story slaps lol, read 230 chapters in the raw and it did a good job of making each new conflict feel like it had stakes and a real risk of failure/loss
it's been a while since I've rate a novel but this one is special1st Mc is a real genius doesn't act without benefits of proper incentives, can be decisive and ruthless when needed2nd Mc is not a simp he's task oriented.3rd cultivation stages are more less the same as other eastern Fantasy novels meh!!!!4th world background is kinder vogue we only know a single empire not the continent or other continents rival empires or the status of the cultivation world is is high or low cultivation world.5th no cheats or bloody system Mc himself is a cheat his memories and deduction abilities of his mathematical past self is great, his talent is great mixed with his mind.6th overall a great book strongly 💪 recommend it. just that updates tend to be on the slow side.
