Nathan Jacobs was just another kid from suburban US. No super powers, no special skills, and, more importantly, no direction. With his senior year of high school coming to an end, Nate is approached by representatives of the international law agency, UNIX. They want him, as well as a team of two other teenagers to infiltrate a college in the mid Pacific called Nowhere Island University.

However, Nowhere Island University is not a normal school. Nate, due to enrolling in the Academy of Military Science as part of his mission, is thrust into the brutal Hell Semester, a special course for the people who want to be mercenaries. There, he meets mob hitmen, former child soldiers, mysterious martial artists, cat girls working for secret societies, and many more strange people.

Meanwhile, events outside NIU are transpiring, threatening to destroy the world, or maybe just kill a huge amount of people. Can Nathan stop it? Or will he die in Hell Semester?

    The story follows a really typical format for back to the past cultivation stories. MC was the supreme god, he was translating or reading some tablet that pushed him back to the past.MC is back to 2018 earth year but is on his original planet, he had been sent to earth by some mad cultist before but he's on his original cultivation world and plans to avoid earth.The story follows the typical upscale fights, bead up a kid, his parents come knocking, kill them. Some kids throw shade on you, kill them. Some sick rich guy comes, cure and take his belongings. Just the usual stuff, his distant family is a piece of sh*t so we can expect him to fight some level 1 or 2 then it goes to the level 3 uncle or whatever then the level 4 comes to take revenge. I'm sure it can even end up with him vs the country's strongest level 5 why not? Well that's all typical cultivation novel MC is also an Alchemist and a Healer and every profession possible god probably. Also he's a slaughter fic MC he's kind of crazy.Some guy blocks his way and taunts him so be cripples him, some girl throws shade on him so he threatens to kill her, some grieving family comes so he kills the 18 generations. It's that slaughter fic kind of story. Lol.

    Let me start by saying I love the writing and aspects of the plot. However, the whole plot feels like the a strange mix-mash of two different stories. Im not sure who the MC is on one hand there is li xiang the chaos butterfly with a tragic past and a charcter i’m really intrested about. She looks like she has a layered backround and a cool set powers. On the otherhand there is her brother? I think. Who is just bland and arrogant and just kind of annoying. It feels like you as an author are trying to link these to stories together but its not working please focus on one charcted it would be best if that character was the chaos butterfly in your title. Apart from that I really hope you expand on her past and I loved the whole cultivation system much more original than other webnovels. Keep it up the story has lots of potential. For best results maybe rewrite aspects if the story focusing on li xiang starting with her intial rebirth? In the immortal world and slow down the pacing of her getting that power. 👍

    I stopped at chapter 455, the chapters in this range are just confusing with like 4 different things going on at once, in my personal it opinion its just start turning **** after chapters in the 100’s area i cant really remember when i thought it was good, but hey if you like it, you like it, but in my opinion its kinda sucks and cant be bothered wasting time reading it
