I have read over 50+ chapters and I can say I am highly disappointed with the main character I understand coming from a abandoned planet not knowing social norms or morals or anything like that but he has had other human count encounters such as in the virtual world and with his adopted father so why after so long does he still treat everybody as a threat before he even assesses the situation his first reaction is to attack first so as to our main characters intelligence there's not much I can say highly about it yeah he has a decent amount of book-smart but for all intents and purposes he's an animal I say that because he reacts the same way a feral animal would he doesn't judge the situation he attacks first doesn't care what he kills who or he kills even if the person's helping him so after saying all that I have to say review for this novel is extremely low because he's not a character that I can bring myself to care about in fact while reading it I'm hoping that there's somebody that comes around that'll beat the living hell out of him instead of hopeing for him to win fights I'm cheering on his enemies just because of the fact that he treats everybody as an enemy even the people that he shouldn't be I wouldn't have so much of a problem if he actually showed any kind of initiative to learn about people or Society and actually tried to learn how to interact with people but he's been around people for months now with no change at all not even at the smallest level

So I actually finished all 51 chapters. It actually was pretty good in terms of mannerisms and writing quality from what I've read so far, but my main gripes are with some plot points. Characters are memorable, interactions were great, and the style of being set in Xuanxia setting was near perfect. Here are the problems I found when reading.1. Firstly, the mc commits suicide right on wedding day when he clearly enjoyed the girl's appearance and mannerisms. I found this rather ridiculous because after his soul returns to his body, he literally warms up to her simply because she didn't view him as a boy toy. The reasons as to why miss Yun even has such strong feelings for him, other than his looks, was never explained. I just found this plot point to be much too ridiculous. His relationship with servant girl made sense and is plausible, but he could literally know his wife more during the marriage rather than just suicide. I found it to be rather rash and stupid when the main character is clearly an intelligent genius.2. The white deer arc started and ended just as quick before we see the MC into a new area. I personally didn't like having his soul jump around so much before one plot point is finished, because it seems really messy and doesn't connect too well. Perhaps the story is still too early to know the reasonings for this, but after introducing a memorable character with likeable motives and personality, then sudden hopping to a different setting, felt really turning off for me.3. I don't think the character's powers were explained too well in terms of execution. So far, I know he has some sort of "soul power?" that allows him to face off against cultivators, but aside from that there's nothing else that's talked about more. MC seems to rely on this more than thinking of other ways to fight, and I suppose there's no other choice presently because he can't cultivate, but I think the polishing needs to be made so it's easier to diffrentiate what powers does the MC have. Tldr, It's well written and I'm glad most cliches were avoided. However, there's still things that require better execution in terms of plot. The setting, characters, and interactions are strong, but in terms of plot there's stuff that seems awkward to read at the moment. Also recommend changing your title since your MC truly did "die" and came back to life, because this story doesn't fit with a "Dark Age" theme.
Captivating synopsis that gives you enough info to keep wondering what this novel's going to deliver. Great worldbuilding obviously. The world is told through Elior's eyes which in itself was natural. Nothing felt rushed, but this was also not a slow burned novel by any means. Think of it as being in the middle, giving you the reader a chance to know what this world is like.Characters are well established and solid, each having their own identity in early chapters. Can't wait to see how they develop even further. Elior himself is a breath of fresh air when we're talking protagonists, different from the other protagonists of books I've read on this site. Sure he's got things going on, but he faces them regardless. A balanced out character if you may based on the chapters I've read so far. This novel has a lot of things going on; comedy, mystery, action, adventure, as well as system and a dash of seriousness, that Elior has something to fight for. Recommended for anyone who's a fan of one of the novel tags, or all of them.
Shit ton of plot armour didn't get far because of how immature the MC is. Thinking he is a god when he can easily be squashed so plot armour commence I can bear with the typos an half sentence but God damn this MC is supposed to be smart as all get up yet bitches an moans like Oliver does... From what i see author has a superiority complex or is narcasistic or just wants atte ruin everyone has to adore an be shocked every time a MC gets into a little battle just seems so conveniently set up to do just so gonna have to drop unfortunately
