Despite facing challenges with an unsatisfactory boss, she remains resilient. So why didn’t this guy become a magic swordsman. At least in the earlier stages of learning magic it would be useful since he has a already established foundation with the sword. I think it would also be a much more intresting story.0 0 Reply

The system is a basic superpower system. What you have at the start is what you're stuck with. Now that might sound bad if it wasn't for the fact that wildbow is probably one of the most creative writers i've ever seen. There's elements of mystery though that's not really what pulled me in. What really made me love this story is the fights and the consequences. Taylor (mc) has a tendency to punch up hard throughout the story and seeing how she finds a way to not end up dead is great. Especially considering the fact that she can't always win and even when she does the results of that fight are always going to be something people deal with whether it's her, her friends, the cape community (cape = people with powers) or society at large. To be honest this is probably my favorite thing about it. Not every fight is hard or impossible but they're all important.0 0 Reply
