In the year 2059, a large blast from the "Other World" engulfed the Earth. The event known as Démarrer (Beginning), changed the world, and humanity forever by creating new variants of humans and brought creatures known as Seikaijū into the world. In that change, came new races of human. But disagreement also came, and out of that disagreement a series of wars known as the Hanketsu wars, fought between the United Imperial Forces, The Exiled, The Ochiru Federation, and other countries in between was born.
35 years later, and the Hanketsu wars still rage on with Ochiru and the IUHF locked in a cold war, and countries under their control crying for independence.
After discovering a mysterious young girl, six UIF members and two mercenaries are assigned to protect her from the other three faction.
However, as they learn more about girl and more pawns are introduced, they each start to question their loyalty to their faction and to each other.
