Met by chance

Chapter 250 and following chapters with issues have been updated.

I read up to chapter 200 and dropped. For anyone reading this, expect a lot of plot holes and inconsistencies. For example, the protagonist is an orfan( since i think it was 5) who lived in a cruel world where the strong prey on the weak, and he managed, somehow, survive to late teens when he enrolls in an academy. You might expect him to be someone more careful, decisive, who values the things and opportunities he got and THINKS BEFORE HE ACTS, but you would be wrong. He is as much of a young master as the actual young masters of the stories, with the only 3 differences being his lack of etiquite, his"moral" standing and a money obsessed personality. There are times when the plot armor is so obvious and thick that i wonder why didnt the author just straight up write "plot armor here". The only decent things are fights descriptions and the writing. The story is just an amalgamation of every possible cultivation novel cliche you can think of.

"I do not really know how to say it in a way that would make sense. You are an important part of my daily life. I am conscious that without you, nothing would ever get done but… I don't know. If I felt it made you unhappy to do all that work to help me, I would not let you do it. I like to see you smile more than I like the floor to be swept or my clothes to be cleaned. Does that make sense?"
