The Aeylic continent had been in a constant state of war for centuries. Racial and class divisions, slavery, ingrained predjudices and discontent in the people throughout the kingdoms led to uprisings and revolts in many nations, giving birth to the Kingdom of Mercia. A nation built without a noble class, free of slavery and racial divides, united against the tyranny of the powerful, and filled with the promise of a better life for all. At least, that's how it was supposed to be.

This is my first story. I'd love to say my terrible english is because it is not my native tongue, but that's not true. It's more a product of laziness than anything else. Anyways, I'll try my best to put a chapter out each week. Tags and description are subject to change. Feel free to bash and criticize both the story and myself. But every now and again try to sneak in some constructive criticism as well. The goal is to get better afterall.
