With no other choice the man let the shackles clasp around his wrists . The shackles were too heavy for his weak body to use as a weapon properly in anyway. The chain that bound the two shackles together was also heavier than the two metal bands combined.

"Hmm? Shall we continue?" She gasped at the sight of Kahn. Without waiting, he landed a heavy blow on her stomach. She was thrown into the crowd who angrily shoved her down.

Then a small male appeared in Nile's vision. The young adult had silver hair but it was barely visible because it was covered by his black hood. His grey eyes, which seemly held no emotions, matched well with his hair, jeans, and shoes.

She was happy to see Henan after long time.

Neither Alojzia nor Vanda responded to his question. They focused their attention in a particular direction and assumed what Havel thought to be battle stances.

this owl thing comes up in many fanfics, and I have no idea were its from. can someone tell me were the  whole "OWL" thing comes from???      

I'm not into the genre since I prefer action and drama but I gave it a chance and somehow it was a pretty decent read, the betrayal plot was nicely done and the MC motivation is somewhat realistically ( albeit a bit strange IMO) not enough to break my immension
