Martial Law

Regret is for the weak. It is for those that were unable to believe in their choices, for those that fell down on their path and were unable to get up. He has never regretted. He has cried in sadness, thrashed out in anger, fought for vengeance, but never regretted. Not 100 year ago, not 100 years later, not today. Waking up in this familiar but alien world that no longer needed him, what will he do? Will his awakening signal the dawn of a new age, or the return of old memories? Looking at himself, his first thoughts were, "Can someone please get me a diaper first."
