In a heartwarming tale, Maria Priscilla Bantoc, an unassuming and somewhat shy girl, stumbled upon an elderly woman named Helia Baal, who possessed a captivating yet enigmatic garden nestled on the rugged hills' northwest side. Intriguingly, Maria had a peculiar encounter with a mysterious black riding figure that first appeared during a tempestuous night when she was born. Life had grown challenging for Maria, particularly after her sisters Celeste wedded and Petunia became engaged. The enigmatic old witch, Helia, held a powerful storm spirit captive - Elohim Hefasto, the eerie black apparition. Faced with a daunting task, Maria found herself on a quest to rescue Elohim from Helia's clutches and safeguard the inhabitants of the rocky hill. Yet, as the story unfolded, Elohim was confronted with a choice: to embrace mortality and live among humans, or return to his ethereal realm, Mundu, as his true self.
