"Can I assist you with anything, dear?" His deep, smoky voice with a hint of accent captivated my attention, making it difficult to focus. "I... I was actually looking for the coffee maker." Was that really my hesitant response? My voice sounded unexpectedly sultry. Slowly raising my gaze, I met his piercing baby blue eyes, and, much to my dismay, my body betrayed me once more. It took immense self-control to swallow, not missing how intently he watched my natural gestures. "I don't partake in coffee," he drawled, a mischievous smirk playing on his lips. "What's in that cup then?" I asked, pointing at his mug. "It's just tea," he replied, trying to hide his amusement.
