Liu Mufeng, an optimistic and cheerful man, accidentally drowned and accidentally crossed over into a Xianxia novel he was reading. He woke up into a mystic world and into another person's body with the same name as him. This Liu Mufeng was a cannon fodder in this novel who was killed by the hero and heroine for his treasures and became a stepping stone for the heroine.
Because he remembered the plot (he had a perfect and complete memory) and in order to live well, Liu Mufeng could only do everything possible to change his fate of being a stepping stone for the heroine.
On his way of finding solution for his situation, he met (and chased) the novel's “villain” Jiang Xu, a sword cultivator.. And so their journey began…..
