"Please don't do it!" she implored, her eyes welling up with tears as she saw the gun in my hand, its barrel aimed at her. "I beg of you," she cried, her sorrow piercing my heart. But I couldn't help it...this was a path I had to follow. "You loved me once," she screamed, her voice tinged with disgust and hatred, her innocence lost. A small laugh escaped me, "I do love you, but someone must pay for their betrayal." "It's a terrible misunderstanding," she pleaded, hoping to sway me. But I couldn't ignore the pain I felt, the betrayal that felt like a knife to the soul. "Andrew, reconsider," Sam interjected, his face a mix of shock and concern as he entered the room. "It's too late to stop me now, Sam," I warned, my voice dripping with venom. "Move back or risk my aim shifting towards you." He remained silent, her cries echoing through the air. I knew I was causing irreparable harm, not just to her, but to myself as well. The deafening crack of a gunshot filled the room, leaving everyone stunned. Blood pooled on the floor, a macabre satisfaction washing over me as I exacted my revenge...but there was much more to our story than this tragic moment.
