Living with His Mark

Having recently completed the editing process, I'd like to share a personal experience. Despite my loved ones being betrayed by people they once trusted, and being warned about guarding my trust, I chose to give it freely, only to realize I had misjudged someone. This individual, though claiming reasons, remains tight-lipped about them. Perhaps their intentions were to weaken or manipulate me, but unexpectedly, I've found myself even stronger and more unshackled. Throughout my life, I've followed a strict path, adhering to rules and cultivating traits that supposedly fortify our community. My upbringing taught me to seek retribution against those who wronged me. However, as I encounter someone new, I'm questioning everything I've believed in and discovering alternative perspectives. The dilemma arises when I realize I might have missed an opportunity to become the person she truly needed.
