Part 1: Orphaned at a young age due to flash flood that struck their village, Leonel was rescued from death's door by the sacrifice of his mother and the bravery of "Master" Klaus Schmitz, the local workshop owner. Left with no living relative, Klaus takes it upon himself to raise Leonel the only way he knows how: the ways of the workshop owner.
Part 2: After the death of Klaus in the middle of the dragon attack that devastated Elchkreuz, the survivors leave on their own separate ways. Leonel and Mark ends up on Siexmont, one of their customer's hometown, where they start anew.
