This is a story that develops many of the things I wanted to see in xianxia/xuanhuan (there is no xianxia tag so I went with wuxia) but never saw in a prominent role, or not prominent enough
There is development of magic technology like talismans and rationalizations to some aspects of cultivation
There are explanations to how a cultivation technique actually works… it works with magic but there are explanations of how that magic behaves
There is an answer to the nonsense of being eternally cultivating just to reach the next level
With armies fighting instead of lone murderhobos
With base building and technomagic production
In a setting that is a mixture of western and oriental fantasy so expect to see magical jades and adamantite weapons
The plot has already been plotted so the story has a clear direction and ending
