Its a pretty good read that has u intreagued the whole time. Sometimes u think u know what's about to happen but they add a twist in a chapter to keep u wanting to read more of it then ever before
When i read reviews i thought this novel was actually really bad, and with insane racism and nationalism.then when i actually decided to read it, it's actually a pretty good novel. i enjoyed it enough to read about 250 chapters ahead in the raws.well in any case there's like 2 sentences that are problematic according to readers. they are in chapter 3 and in all honesty i just dont give a ****.people are way too thinskinned about that stuff.if you have exeggerated feelings of self importance, or anything even closely related to racism/nationalism makes you froth at the mouth, just dont bother reading it or start from chapter 4. well the forging book in trial read got picked, so i hope this one gets picked aswell.P.S: not writing a real review, i liked it enough to share my thoughts and give it a decent score to balance the 1star reviews. it deserves better imo.
Too much grammatical mistakes, most of the time you won't able to differentiate who he's referring to......And damn energy really...what is this, you combined soul energy and mana and was too lazy to name it and thus it became damn energy...like literally,try to be a little more innovative...😓
Like others have said, the translation quality is borderline trash. It really feels like MTL that was lazily edited. Other than that, the story itself is quite good. Decently paced, a little bit like slice of life, but with an immortal protagonist fumbling his way through traditional cultivation. So far, it doesn't seem like there will be any outrageous xuanhuan tropes, so I'm hoping this gets selected. It's a great change of pace.
He didn't give the time for the surprised bandits to react before he slashed the dagger through a bandit's neck. Unknown battle instincts and muscle memory dictated his every move like he had done this before. However, for the life of him, he couldn't remember a thing on just how or when he learned this stuff.
