Her Deceitful Love

"There were so many vows and aspirations, yet they all shattered today," his voice echoed with a deep sadness. "The promise you made to love me till the end, your aspiration to become my wife and create a family – those dreams crumbled now, my princess," she wept, feeling her heart break as his words struck home. He gently placed an arm around her slender waist, trying to console her. "Shh, don't cry. Though I can't offer love, I do empathize with your sorrow, after all, we've shared so much together," he whispered, tenderly wiping away her tears with his knuckles. "Let's soften this pain, just a little, okay?" He suggested, offering a small measure of solace. "Not in public, but I can provide you with the comfort a husband gives his wife in private, on my bed... as we did last night, when you allowed me to explore every inch of your beauty," he leaned in, their eyes meeting. "You were open to me, Princess, letting me touch what I believed was love, even though it was tainted by my... transgressions," he murmured, tightening his hold around her. Yet, as he untied the knot of her nightgown, her heart sank further. "Would it help to ease your heartache if I took you back to my bed?" he asked huskily, his words revealing a cruelty that stung more than the act itself. "I'm certain it'd be the perfect remedy for a daughter of a prostitute and the deceit you thought was love," he whispered, leaving her reeling with a mix of pain and betrayal.
