The room was eerily silent, save for Keenan's labored breathing and my own heart racing. He stood with his hands on his hips, his gaze fixed on the ceiling, lost in thoughts of past regrets. This moment felt like the start of yet another potential disaster. Filled with concern, I blurted out, "What's wrong?" My mind raced, wondering if he, too, was reliving the events from the previous night, possibly experiencing a pang of regret like I was. To my surprise, he pulled out a paper certificate from the bar counter, holding it up for me to see. "Seems like we didn't just have a wild night; we tied the knot," he said, his voice tinged with a mix of surprise and perhaps, a hint of unease.
