The act of murder is attributed to 10 years behind bars rotting in a cell. Rape may just be a 4 letter word but it makes for a very long sentence of 14 years behind the reinforced cold steel that locks people away from the outside world. Life in prison? Given that strong fighters and high mages have life spans from 1000 years to practically limitless it is no wonder some of them look at this punishment with a smile.

The world grew so grey and dull where not even war was uncommon. Being so much stronger then others gives authority. Might makes right.

Many grew tires of this unending cycle of warlords and psychopaths ruling over the lands and joined together. The triad kingdoms. Humans. Elves. Dwarfs. fairies. Demi-dragons. Demi-humans. Demons. Demi-gods. all united against a common enemy. But after a while that enemy was exterminated.

The nature that made them wish to fight was bottled up and grew until the tensions just broke apart. A war between the races occurred and the world was sunk into another age of darkness.

One man grew tired of it. Nothing but time on his hands and a growing desire to end it all he forged his path was an iron will. 50 years later he had successfully created a monster. A predictor that would hunt down everything and kill indiscriminately. Able to grow and adapt to any situation and with a single driving motive. Hunt.

    Sorry to burst your bubble girls but, isn't this a story whom a male is its protagonist? I mean, "The Empress' Gigolo"! See the apostrophe? Further more, the 'gigolo' word?! It means, a male escort or social companion who is supported by a woman in a continuing relationship; often living in her residence or having to be present at her beck and call----(wikipedia). So, just because the cover is a female doesn't mean she's the protagonist... sigh I want it to be a girl mc too 😔

    12 chapter in and in everyone I get what I expectedsmooth change of the mc into a ghoulAt start we can see his emotion as a human ( yet to fully see who he is as a ghoul)Also a sense of despair at the start of the apocalypse was nicely portrayedHope for lots of lemon in this one in the future <3

    Really don't know why so many people are giving such a low rating just because of one vaguely racist comment, which had already been removed from the story. I wonder if some of these people had actually read the story before they reviewed or liked the reviews saying that this novel is racist and decided to ditch the novel.Personally, I feel this is an interesting read. I could see a lot of potential in the story and character development, and I really like the comedic way the story is delivered. I feel that this book is much better than some other books that get selected and I really hope to see what happens next in the novel.

    Compared to the 'First' novel, this novel's quality is lower..... It seems to me that this is just added flavor after the end of the king's avatar novel.What I expect when I saw the novel is a 'real' prequel..... Of course what I expect to see is when Ye Xiu decided to run from home to play games to meeting Su siblings then to their rise in glory and then the creation of esports of glory then to the creation of team excellent era of course with Tao Xuan, Manager Cui, Ye Xiu, Su Mu Qiu (from a group of people from a computer shop to pro team) and Wu Xuefeng and to Su Mu Qiu's death and then to Ye Xiu's resolve to win championship for them....This is what a prequel is (IMO) and not a how-they-meet-up and time-skips of fight....Also because of the many time skips, there are many feelings and emotions that aren't portrayed just like how Butterfly Blue portrayed the feelings and emotions of the players in the middle of the novel......It felt that this novel is kinda rushed, just like the ending of the novel of origin....I'm really disappointed given the hype of this new novel after the ending of the mother novel....*sigh~~But still, all in all, I will still continue to read this since my score has nothing to do with the fact that I WANT MORE OF KING'S AVATAR!!And the enjoyment I got is still higher than what my score suggests....What my score meant is my disappointment in my rant above.. ༼☯﹏☯༽

    Look, I have no words for the main character. But why does the world that mc sees into must be so bad? did you do this on purpose? How could mc like such a stupidly ridiculous book? A world where all Asgard and other MCU gods are intertwined, where Adam and Eve are warriors. I would leave the novel in which mc is in the first 2 chapters. also how can mc still be imprisoned in such a stupid world. nonsense.

    Of these 70 chapters,I see same plot repetition.i hope there would be some plot development and not our mc always being very low key. overall, I'm not tired of the repetitive plot yet.
