Bad.Start was good. I thought that it would focus on farming due to the cottage on the thumbnail. But no, it only started that way. It quickly turned into a generic xianxia novel, with all the killing: revenge killing, political killing, fight for the throne killing, join me or die killing, you offend me i kill you killing.Nothing about this novel is "carefree".

Well, for the 20 or so chapter, you'll have every trope that a xianxia novel can have throw at you. I'm talking about the seeming thrash clan/family/group heir with great potential, the overly strong maid/butler, the transmigrant and time traveler which can pull out of his as* all the mumbo jumbo in the existence, and, last but not least, a obnoxius enemy young master in the power play.But the people like it, so if that is your thing, rejoice.

This is nothing but ranting about Africa not a story don’t waste your time

So our mc transmigrate to another world where there are martial spirits, they thought he was really talented until they discovered he has no martial spirit. Well of course just like any other novel out there, our mc 'suddenly' have found a cheat where he can devour martial spirits. So it is kinda cliche but If you are into stories like this, you could give it a try.

I love this kind of novel. Hope you didn't drop this novel. Just don't make Sam's students too op. That will make this less interesting. Also, I would like to see Sam taking a student with low potential or average potential.
