"Let's live together..." She spoke solemnly, her flat expression making it sound like she was reading from a formal document. The young man's eyes widened in disbelief, as if witnessing a sudden madness. Yet, the seriousness in her gaze indicated she meant every word. "I really like this place. You do, too, don't you?" she continued. "We could split the rent. After a year, we can decide whether to stay or explore other options." She glanced at him, awaiting his response. "How about it?" He hesitated, slightly annoyed by the unusual proposal yet acknowledging its practicality – especially since he was financially struggling. "Alright, deal," he agreed, shaking her hand. "But there's one condition," he added, still holding her hand warmly. "You mustn't fall in love with me." She smirked, a teasing glint in her eye. "Don't worry, I'm an asexual, so that shouldn't be a problem," she reassured him with a mock smile.
