Tritania, a MMORPG fantasy digital dreamworld, has been around for over a decade. It's known for its three floating continents, its in-game language, and the legendary battles that were waged there some years ago.

Madoka and his female friend, Tamana, have gone just about as far as an avatar can go in Tritania. They were near the highest level, part of one of the best guilds around, had battled everything from dragons to warlocks on all three continents, and honestly, they were bored with their success. So they decided to become "resetters", players who start over at a lower level just for the challenge.

Then the unthinkable happens.

Madoka watches as Tamana takes her life in a Tokyo subway. He scrambles to find what's left of her in-game avatar in Tritania, only to discover that she's been kidnapped. Something sinister is happening to people around the world, and whatever it is, it is attacking them from within the game. As Madoka tries to get to the bottom of this, his brother, a young Yakuza crime boss, does everything he can to make Madoka's life a living hell. And that's not the only thing after him - NPCs are gunning for him as well.

The real world, a digital world, a digital world playing out in the real world: the thin line between dream and reality is pixilated in Fantasy Online, a LitRPG series that blends fantasy, cyberpunk, sci-fi, and humor into a psychological tour de force.

Note: Posted on RoyalRoadsL are pre-edited chapters of Fantasy Online. The final release will be edited by my longtime editor, George C. Hopkins. I will repost edited chapters as they become available. For more of this world, check out my other litRPG scifi series The Feedback Loop.

I don’t know if this is just me, but I have trouble reading the novel. I find myself having to re-read sentences or paragraphs. The flow reading is messed up and the transitions between paragraphs are rough.

It's a likable story even though it's pretty generic.I wonder if more stories like the strongest gene will pop out later.I don't like many of the trial reads from their descriptions

Great story, but I shall admit to some bias here. This is a 'misunderstanding' novel much like 'Losing Money To Be A Tycoon' and 'I'm Really Not The Demon's Lackey'. I loved those novels, so it's no surprise I love this one as well. :)

Hi author, I notice that you've started on a new story. We are mainly looking for adventurous novels (Fantasy, Sci-fi, Paranormal Urban, Action, Thriller/Suspense, Game Fiction). If you are interested to know whether you can get paid while writing your story, you might want to email amanda_nl21@*hotmail.com for details.

It's all about the first chapter pulling me in and I was pulled in fast! Doesn't happen often but very excited to see what happens. I love the view point really gives you all the feels and makes you feel like your right there seeing everything as well. Looking forward to seeing the rest. I really love it.

I’m extremely disappointed, the story  is good at first because of surprise affect the first arc had. By the second arc I was going in with a lot of expectations because of the previous arc. But it just got replayed the same tension, the same build up, and the same climax. Literally no difference.     Now, imagine that for the rest of the novel. Just the same reused script.…All in all, very disappointing.

I love this novel! the battles are very well, the story is magnificent, I love how the Germans fight and die with greater fervor than religious.
