The stoic and seemingly cold 17 year old Maxwell, and his younger and cheerful 15 year old sister Lindsey, are on the run from their family. After taking shelter in a nearby school, they are betrayed by their classmates and teacher. With his dying breath, Maxwell curses himself. Unable to save his sister in this life, he prays that in their reincarnation, he will take on all of her pain and suffering so that she may live the carefree and painless life that he couldn't provide for her before. What kind of dreadful life awaits Maxwell? How will he over come it?
