Basil von Doom has a chip on his shoulder. An accomplished dungeon master, he has always lived in the shadow of his father and is desperate to surpass his legacy.
Frustrated by the growing bureaucracy of the Guild of Chaos, he strikes out on an unsanctioned adventure by establishing a new dungeon on a forbidden 'Alpha' world –– something that his predecessor did not attempt even at the height of his power.
