Or in this case, a misfit among the usually unintelligent minions that build and maintain a dungeon. Our would-be journeyman has nobody to teach the tricks of a trade he must pioneer himself.
How will he deal with recalcitrant minions, petty adventurers, an ontologically disassociated master, phenomenalistically stochastic magic, and perhaps most pressing of all: figuring out what to do with all the dirt being moved?
