Michael Hyato has recently graduated from high school, showing some rather phenomenal results, and even managing to make it into the top 3% of the country no less. Yet... he has failed to find a job at every turn.
One day, however, his best friend helps him out. Pointing him towards a management job for the new, close by smeltery. Things seem to be going well. Unfortunately, a horrible accident occurs, causing Michael to lose his life in the process. With time, his wandering soul finds its way into a mysterious world of Swords & Magic.
Michael's bad luck doesn't end there, as he beomes a being that the races of this new world fear and hate. How will he live out his new life in this backwater foreign world, full of monsters, unscrupulous people, and unfamiliar places?
