The wolf let go, and just as it was about to finish his hunt, the roar of a creature much larger than it sounded close by. The wolf skittered off in fear, leaving Arthur mangled and dying slowly. The last thing he saw before his eyes shut were people rushing to his side.

Average novel. I dropped it because the characters felt bland and emotionless. The character interactions were pretty minimal and not well done. The main character also felt pretty bland and is basically a meathead that doesn't seem too smart...

I don't find the whole "I'm talented, but you just don't know it" appealing. what's the use of being strong/having a strong talent if you are going to be walked over by everyone in the beginning? I will still give it a try, later, but I just can't find enjoyment in a novel where the protagonist struggles for no reason, after all, the journey as important as the destination, and for some even more.  I'll update the review after giving the novel a try (which will be in a few hours)spoiler of mushoku tensei here:Mushoku Tensei is the perfect example. He became the strongest but lost everyone and everything, so he went back in time to try and fix everything, and even then he still lost it all just for another him to not go through the same stuff he went through.

Good Story but i dont like how he forgets his hate for the empire so fast and just sleeps with that Inquisitor after Meeting her twice.  The Power System is nice

For the moment it is average, I will wait to see how the author will manage the rest of the story especially since the MC gives the impression of being invincible

Hey all, DOGZA here—yeah, the one who cooked up this chaotic mess of aliens, time tricks, and a kid who’s way too human for their own good. Writing Chronos' Burden has been a wild ride, and I’m stoked to share it with you. Alex Carter’s not your typical hero—they’re a bloody, scared, sarcastic mess, stumbling through a world that’s falling apart faster than they can figure out their powers. It’s gritty, it’s messy, and it’s real—at least, as real as a story about alien monsters and time freezes can get. I poured a lot into this, from the heart-pounding fights to those quiet moments where Alex just wants to give up but can’t. If you’re into raw emotion, insane stakes, and characters who feel like they could be you (minus the whole “stopping time” thing), give it a shot. Let me know what you think—I’m all ears for your cheers or jeers. Thanks for reading, and hang on tight—Alex’s journey’s only getting crazier from here!
