DEVIL'S VALE

I feel like so far (as of Chapter 90) the pacing is both too fast and too slow. It seems like the MC has barely done anything but also rushes to whatever happens next. Theres barely any down time for the MC to actually train since it seems like every 3 days he is forced to move to a different location. It's definitely a good read but the pacing just keeps throwing me off, especially with chapters that make it seem like there was some sort of progression between the chapters which can make it confusing at times.

Enjoyed this book. Can’t wait for Jagger’s book to come out

I’d really like to read this book but it keeps telling me to try again.  Why is that?

How is it that Ella cannot tolerate Javier's gd intentions by finding her father, but forgives her mother 4 her cruel(imho) & cold infliction upon Ella, resulting in an unstable, painful, lonely childhood?It seems a cruel penalty to ice out Javier when he was the 1 person who selflessly loved her.
