Author review here! Since I'm the "all-knowing" creator of this work, I'm going to give you a different perspective! What should you expect from this story?--Fighting. A lot of fighting. A whole lot of it. Action is the main draw of this story, and there is no shortage of it. You'll be able to explore many martial arts styles and how they interact with one another. --Comedy?Perhaps a change of tone from the works I usually do, this story does embody comedic tones a lot of the time, though it's serious when it needs to be. --Pacing? Pretty fast, I'd say. Though when it comes to major fights, they can last multiple chapters of just the fight itself.
please please please please stop this bullshit and give this up so someone else can finish it. It's been more than five years since this started and for a story with only 1500 chapters you sure have taking your time dropping this whenever you wanted and letting it sit for months on end
It started off really good [ OP Mc, Arrogant Mc, Cruel and ruthless but not a psycopath]. But, there was not a much of plot line or any twists or surprises in story. He saves some important people [to control them] and helps them. If enemy were strong, he uses arrays to hide then cultivates in short period and then kills the enemy.---- this scene repeats itself again and again.Story was extremely focused on MC, that after 70 or 80 Chapters it becomes so boring. Even then there miniscule dialogues for MC, They are 'they are ants', 'just you', 'what can you do' like these.My review is only upto ch158. Maybe it was better later, I Hope.
Frankly speaking... this book is confusing in terms of their world, u know its set in modern time but u cant deny u get the feeling from those xuanhuan settings with the magic items that keep popping out, and somehow i feel the author is same author for Inverted dragon scales it got same flavours to it.. (i dont know the name for IDS author name LOL). But personally for me i enjoy the ride and looking forward for more development. Thank to the translator, cheers!
