Claiming His Bride

During the quiet hours of the night, when the full moon casts its ominous glow, these creatures snatch young girls and women. They prowl stealthily through the narrow lanes of our humble town, leaving the townsfolk in a state of constant dread. In an attempt to ward off evil, people perform rituals and religious acts, like marking doors with crosses, hoping to deter the beasts. However, despite these precautions, the terror persists. The recent disappearance of a young woman, whose remains were discovered in the woods, serves as a grim reminder of the danger. To mask their scent, which the beasts seem to rely on, residents resort to covering up garbage, sewage, and other unpleasant odors.
