Chasing Sunlight

Welcome to Glenrose High School, where Kiran Black has recently arrived after his parents' divorce and relocation to Oregon with his mother. Starting anew isn't an easy task for him, especially considering how much he wishes for some peace and quiet. The first challenge he encounters is Aurora Williams, a seemingly perpetually upbeat individual - quite possibly the most energetic person he's ever met. Named after the dawn and symbolizing brightness, Aurora truly embodies the role of being a beacon of happiness for those around her. Despite her overwhelming cheerfulness, there's something intriguing about Aurora that captures Kiran's attention. He's well aware that every shining light casts a shadow, and he can't help but feel drawn to uncovering the hidden struggles beneath her sunny exterior. For Kiran, it's a mystery he's determined to unravel: Are Aurora's demons lurking beneath her cheerful facade, or will she guide him towards his own enlightenment, or perhaps lead them both into the depths of their unspoken battles?
