There's a monster in Sylvie Magee. A hunger. She can toss mere men like paperclips and eat a town's worth of food. She's not human either, she's half-Jotun, and she's been living a small town life in Kentucky until she ends up in Hel.
Trap in the lower world tethered to Yggdrasil, the cosmic-tree, Sylvie will meet six others who have been brutally murdered, tormented, and violated. They're all from the same world like her, whisked away to this fantastic place.
They will band together to survive Hel's caverns, battle its monsters, seek vengeance, and find a way out. This wouldn't be so hard if they weren't tied to an apocalyptic prophecy while facing against Hela, the Goddess of Hel.
