I hated time skip that just goes '2 years went by' like, dude, how many paragraphs are there in a chapter? How many sentences? Break them down can't you. Use a sentence to describe the weeks, paragraph to describe the months. That would only take like 10% of the chapter length but it flows so much better.
Towards the upper middle part, it got so much worse, at one point I think there's a timeskips every 2 chapter and it went like the example above. Even after that, when getting into a new arc and he arrived at a brand new world and new power system and got so much to explore, it literally timeskips in the very next chapter he arrived, that part really p*ss*s me off and ruined the immersion
