    I just want to know if the Author is a sadist. Why is every of her novel end tragically? I have read August and Landon, hoping Slim will give us something different. Maybe a happy ending, but no, it just have to end the same way. So heartbreaking. I so much love ur novels, but please do better.

    Honestly if the fl gets together with the emperor, I might as well just drop this book, I don’t mean to sound crass but she’s already spreading her legs for him and it’s really getting irritating at this point
